My name is David. I’ve been doing vegetable gardening for about 20 years both as something I enjoy and as a way to offset the costs of groceries and feed my family.

I’ve tried all the most popular gardening methods (some very costly and labor intensive) through the years with limited success and have always attributed my failures to the short season or bad soil or some other poor growing condition.
